My 8 month old has had Sophie for about 3 months now (his first teeth cut through at 4 months); he loves it and it’s easy for him to hold. He gets very excited about the squeaky noise he can create himself. For me, it’s great piece of mind knowing that it’s BPA and PVC-free. I also like that IT’S NOT MADE IN CHINA!!! I’m so tired of teething rings with painted crap on them that I know is going into my child’s system. Some other reviewers have negatively commented on the toy’s appearance. If you are purchasing this because it is BPA and PVC-free, I find it odd that aesthetics would be so fundamentally important in the ‘teething toy category’. We love Sophie so much that we actually purchased some other teethers/toys from the same company and I plan to purchase more as gifts. I really wish I had known about Sophie (and similar products) with my first child.
